About Our Founder
​James’ passion for education began early, and over the past two decades he has built extensive experience teaching and leading academic programs internationally. Having worked with students across a wide range of ages and curricula, James founded International Academics to provide families with access to exceptional, highly qualified tutors from around the world.
Today, James oversees the academic direction of the company, personally selecting and supporting each tutor to ensure consistently high standards of teaching, subject expertise, and exam preparation. Under his leadership, International Academics supports students across international and U.S. curricula, from foundational learning through to high-stakes IB, AP, and university entrance examinations.
